As a mentor, you’ll be able to inspire and help NDT students or those new to the industry reach their career potential and gain insight from your professional experiences. By volunteering to be a mentor, you are committing to:
- Regular communication with your assigned mentee.
- Share your story and experiences with your mentee.
- Provide feedback to ASNT ISC about the mentoring program upon request.
When you are matched with a mentee, we are expecting a formal mentorship of one-year. You and your mentee may keep your communication going informally if you choose to. While electronic communication is required, you are welcome to meet in person.
